1978 Beetle Convertible with a completely rebuilt done by Lenny's VW. Starts up clean every time and runs great. Fairly new top, attractive turquoise paint and OK interior.     This beetles name is Eleanor, she is a great beetle to which I have willingly put some very good money into in order to get her back to her best potential but the time has come to let her go due to some hardship I can’t afford.
     The car was restored to some extent before I bought it, Paint, top end engine rebuild (1641 cc) interior work was already done as well, I have spent time and money trying to make it my own, the work I could not do was done here at Lennys VW in fort Lauderdale Fl.
     I have invested about $7200.00 into Eleanor, some of that work includes:
New master cylinder, 2 flexible hoses, inspection of main brake line, some flexible replacement. Repair turn signals, wiring and wiper motor, e-brake assembly, replace horn, various parts for horn switch, 2 rear drums, remove adjusters to grease, new transmission mounts, clutch cable return spring, 3 prong flasher relay, 2 valve covers, replacement tail lights, fixed plate light, new Pioneer stereo, new carpet for trunk, spare tire cover, center console, 2 used bumpers, floor pans have been replaced ,ETC.

   I have a 2000 Jetta GL 5spd. The car am-fm tape player is a piece of crap. All the buttons started falling off recently. I don't want to buy an aftermarket because there is a red LED light built into the factory player which blinks telling you that the alarm is armed. Do you have a factory CD
player that I could simply exchange with it?

My name is Lenny and I am the owner of Lenny's VW. I have a complete 1972 Camper Van with frig and sink that is in good condition. The original engine was a 1700 cc motor but I personally have installed a recently rebuilt, larger displacement Porsche 914 motor in it. Starts and sounds great and runs strong. Brakes are good and front end suspension is tight. I installed a new clutch kit with the motor. $4,500 as is.   For those who don't know that much about the VW Van you should know that the body style and the body parts  remained the same from 1968 to 1979 so body and engine replacement parts are definitely not a problem. This van is a 34 year old antique which makes it more than 1/3 of a century old but it is structurally solid although it has a few small rust spots and it has the original paint. Lenny, I have a 1997 VW GLX VR6. I've had it for 3 years now, and I love it.... but, I'm a resident of Massachusetts, and 2 years ago i had a $1400 inspection sticker, all because of my secondary air pump. Now it is 2 years later, my check engine light is back on and spitting out the code for the pump again "faulty air flow"... I have a custom air intake , which I assume water is getting into the small filter and freezing the air pump.. I don't wanna' have to pay another $1k for an inspection in MAY.. I have time, but, not too much.. I have a well respected mechanic who also specializes in VW's... my problem is, my brother or father threw away the old air box, so now I can't change it back over to prevent water from getting in... I need parts... secondary air pump, and the stock air box.. Any help / suggestions??

It has fold up couch that turns flat turns into a bed A hammock that is used over the front seat for a small child The table top folds up out of the way, when camper is used for a bed.
